Invitation to the Commission on Global Security, Justice & Governance: Pre-Report Launch Event

Thursday, June 11, 2015 · 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
Location: The Hague Institute for Global Justice

Members of ACUNS attending the community’s Annual Meeting in The Hague form part of the core constituency for the Commission’s work, as it brings together both policy-oriented scholars of global governance and academically-oriented UN officials and other policy practitioners. The Hague Institute and The Stimson Center, therefore, co-hosted a “Pre-Report Launch Event” at The Hague Institute.

Dr. Richard Ponzio, Head of the Global Governance Program at The Hague Institute for Global Justice, Dr. William Durch, Co-director of the Future of Peace Operations program at The Stimson Center (Washington, D.C.), and Dr. Joris Larik, Senior Researcher at The Hague Institute presented the Confronting the Crisis of Global Governance Report’s chief findings and recommendations.

Professor Sukehiro Hasegawa (former Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Timor-Leste – Head of UNMISET, UNOTIL, UNMIT, and Visiting Professor at Hosei and UN Universities) moderated the public discussion.

Please note: The Commission’s Report, titled “Confronting the Crisis of Global Governance”, will be embargoed until the official launch on June 16.
