Strategic Learning is an online initiative offering online courses to sharpen analysts’ understanding of strategic concepts in Southern Asia and beyond. We do this by making diverse viewpoints accessible via open online courses, nurturing vibrant communities of “strategic learners” on social media, and providing opportunities for students to engage with experts in the field.
The newly released free online course, “Deterrence in Southern Asia,” offers students comprehensive and diverse perspectives on deterrence in theory and in practice from the Cold War to Southern Asia today. It features original text, video lessons, interactive features, expert-written case studies, and other learning resources from more than 60 experts from across Southern Asia and beyond.
