USIC and the Initiatives for Proliferation Prevention

The following report pertains to a multiyear effort by the Stimson Center to engage all major stakeholders in a process of rethinking and improving the full spectrum of US nonproliferation and threat reduction efforts. The study was conducted to accumulate and analyze feedback on how to ensure these programs are sustainable over the long-term and are not terminated prematurely. Interviews with thirty-six members of the US Industry Coalition, representing the largest and most diverse pool of companies involved in nonproliferation redirect efforts, as well as five I-Lab program managers were essential components of this study.
