It seems that those who suggested it would be unwise to take the president at his word were mistaken. In the first two weeks of his presidency, Donald Trump has followed up on campaign promises to build a wall, ban Muslims from entering the United States, repeal the Affordable Care Act, and so on. So what does this mean for defense spending? We can now safely assume that more is on the way.
