Arms Trade Treaty Workshop cited in The Island Sun

The Government is leading the fight against weapons by taking steps to strengthen the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT).

Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Police and National Security Mr Edmond Sikua said the government through the ministry of police plans to be actively engaged in the international and regional process so that arms legislations are fully strengthened.


Mr Sikua said resolutions from the workshop will help the government and his ministry to review the existing legislation that oversees arms in the country.
