The Trade Security Steering Group – an informal group of trade specialists organized by the StimsonCenter and the National Association of Manufacturers – supports a range of public – private initiatives to more effectively mitigate international security risks while enhancing the export competitiveness of high – performing companies. One priority is streamlining U.S. regulation of intra-company technology transfers, particularly for “deemed exports” that transfer technology to non-U.S. persons. To that end, feedback from companies, universities, and other organizations across the exporting community is crucial.
