Giffen Testifies before Senate Committee on Foreign Relations Subcommittee on African Affairs

On May 26, 2010, Alison Giffen was asked to testify before the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations Subcommittee on African Affairs for the hearing entitled: “Assessing Challenges and Opportunities for Peace in Sudan.” With field experience in Sudan and extensive knowledge of the country’s conflicts and humanitarian crises, Giffen provided a sobering account of the various threats to civilians in the North and South.  See Giffen’s testimony.
