New Information and Intelligence Needs in the 21st Century Threat Environment

The Stimson Center, in collaboration with the Swedish Institute of International Affairs, explored how current information and intelligence systems support homeland security officials in the United States and the European Union with the release of the report, New Information and Intellgence Needs in the 21st Century Threat Environment. The authors examine these systems for three types of homeland security threats: infectious diseases, natural hazards, and terrorism.
