Kaitlin Scott

Kaitlin Scott (she/her) is the Program Assistant for the Protecting Civilians and Human Security Program at the Stimson Center. She provides logistical and project management support to advance the program’s objective of reducing civilian casualties in conflict zones around the world. 

Prior to joining Stimson, she worked as the events coordinator for the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) – Americas office and in local government. She completed internships at the U.S. Department of Commerce, Municipalidad de Peñalolén, and State of Indiana, in addition to an AmeriCorps term of service with Generation Teach. Kaitlin graduated with Highest Distinction from Indiana University, where she completed bachelor’s degrees in international law and institutions and Middle Eastern languages & cultures. She is proficient in Arabic and Spanish.
