Juliet Weis

Juliet Weis (she/her) is a Research Associate in the Protecting Civilians and Human Security Program at the Stimson Center. Her professional and academic work has covered topics ranging from UN peacekeeping operations to civil society and community engagement, peacebuilding, international security, conflict resolution, and women, peace, and security. She has worked on a variety of conflict analyses and peacebuilding research projects on situations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Guinea, Libya, Mali, Nigeria, Russia, and Yemen, among other countries.

Juliet holds a Master of International Affairs from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Vassar College.
