At the conclusion of their year-long fellowship with the Stimson Center’s South Asia Program, 2024 Visiting Fellows Bashir Ali Abbas, Nikita Singla, Usama Nizamani, and Seema Khan will share their research findings and recommendations on a range of evolving trends in Southern Asian security issues. The discussion will highlight strategies for managing risks from naval nuclear competition in the Indian Ocean Region, the potential for U.S.-India cooperation in secure trade facilitation, the impact of emerging technologies on regional strategic stability, and the future prospects of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
