Note: This event will be conducted entirely in Spanish.
Latin America sits at the center of the global energy transition. As the world’s second-largest copper producer and a key potential supplier of lithium and rare earths, Peru is uniquely positioned to supply high-demand inputs for electric vehicles and renewable energy. To explore how the region can balance market opportunities with pressing social and environmental priorities, the Stimson Center and the Universidad del Pacífico will convene a high-level conference in Lima bringing together experts from government, civil society, and the private sector.
This event is made possible by partnership with the Universidad del Pacífico and with support from:
- International Development Research Centre (IDRC)
- Arequipa Nexus Institute
