The Stimson Center is proud to welcome two new senior researchers: Andrea Viski, who will direct a new Trade and Investment Security Program, and Allison Pytlak, who will lead a new Cyber Program.

The two new programs join a robust portfolio of Trade & Technology projects which cover conventional arms, emerging technology, nonproliferation, and trade risk mitigation.

Brian Finlay, President & CEO of the Stimson Center, said “The Stimson Center is focused on the issues that will define the future of international security, and few are more likely to shape our world than international trade and investment or cyber policy. Andrea and Allison are leaders in their fields who will bring a cutting edge and solutions-oriented approach to these critical policy areas. We are excited to have them on board.”

Stimson’s Trade and Investment Security Program empowers strategic trade stakeholders to strengthen international peace and security by mitigating the risk of trade and technology flows. The program will conduct a wide range of activities, from best practice research to training and capacity building, with an initial focus on foreign direct investment.
