Gillian Gayner

Gillian Gayner is a former Research Associate with the South Asia Program at the Stimson Center. While at Stimson, her activities included: leading the development of the Program’s crisis escalation Track II initiative; head of course development for the Nuclear Learning initiative’s “Deterrence in Southern Asia” online course; and research on a project examining trends of politics and violence in Kashmir. Her research interests include South Asian geopolitics and security, internal conflict dynamics, and nuclear issues. She holds an M.A. in Security Studies from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Political Science from Tulane University.
