Caitlin Goodman is a Communications Specialist at the Stimson Center. Prior to joining Stimson, she was a Communications and Outreach Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Before that, she worked in communications and development for various local and international nonprofits, as well as for Creative Associates International, and its sister organization, Creative Learning in their America’s Unofficial Ambassadors (AUA) program, developing a communications strategy for the Ifrane National Park in Azrou, Morocco.
In graduate school, her practicum focused on Building a Sustainable Agri-Tourism Industry in La Merced, Colombia, with her direct thesis focusing on their marketing strategy. She simultaneously worked in social media and outreach for Witness, a video advocacy organization that puts a spotlight on human rights violations around the world.
She holds a B.A. in Journalism and Spanish from Ohio Wesleyan University, and an M.A. in International Affairs with a concentration in Media and Culture from the School of Public Engagement at the New School.
