Scott Aughenbaugh is Strategic Engagement Director at the National Security Innovation Network (nsin.mil), a program office in the Department of Defense. His focus is to build relationships with non-traditional participants to generate novel solutions to DoD challenges. A veteran DoD innovation bureaucracy buster, Scott’s experience also includes SBIR/STTR, venture capital engagement, and mentoring companies through commercial accelerators. Before NSIN, Scott worked at the Center for Strategic & International Studies, performing strategic futures analysis under the Seven Resolutions program. He earned a M.A. from Kent State University and a B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan.
