Maximilian Bremer

Maximilian Bremer is a Nonresident Fellow with the Reimagining US Grand Strategy Program at the Stimson Center.  Before retiring from the Air Force, he was Chief of the Advanced Programs Division at Air Mobility Command and led the Mission Integration Cell at the Integrated Capabilities Command.  He has served in key strategic and  operational roles for the Secretary of the Air Force, and at NORAD, U.S. Northern Command, U.S. Space Command and U.S. Transportation Command.

Bremer holds a B.S. In Russian History from the U.S. Air Force Academy, an M.P.P. from Harvard’s  Kennedy School, and a Master’s degree in Airpower Art and Science from the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies. His research focuses on airpower strategy, future force design, contested logistics, autonomous systems and economic coercion.
