With expertise in policy advocacy, global development, and coalition-building, he has advised Fortune 500 companies, foreign governments—including the United Arab Emirates, Bermuda, Saudi Arabia, and Japan—and U.S. political campaigns on winning strategies and sustainable growth. Juan has held senior roles in leading American political efforts, serving as a senior advisor to the successful Biden campaign for President in 2020 and as Deputy National Political Director for President Biden and Vice President Harris across the 2024 campaign.

A sought-after speaker, Juan has been featured on national panels exploring race, power, and politics and is a guest lecturer at institutions such as Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris, the University of Minnesota, and Florida Atlantic University. A first-generation Colombian American with roots in rural Oklahoma, Juan is also a former geophysicist.
