Stimson co-founder Barry Blechman gave a lecture, “Confronting the Nuclear Threat,” at the World Affairs Council of New Orleans on December 11. He discussed the status of the Iranian nuclear program and international efforts to counter it, and analyzed available options the international community could use to halt Iran’s progress towards obtaining nuclear weapons.
