Sonji Johnson is a project management specialist at the Stimson Center. She has more than 15 years of experience in project management, program coordination and meeting planning. Before joining Stimson, Johnson worked as a grants specialist at the Association of Public
Health Laboratories. Prior to that, she was a program manager/research analyst at DB Consulting Group, Inc. Her area of
expertise is providing oversight to government contracts including those for the Center for
Disease Control and Prevention, Department of Justice and the Department of Health and
Human Services.
Johnson holds an MSM in Management with a concentration in Leadership from Catholic University of America and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Western Michigan University.
