Shreya Singhal is a researcher and learning designer focused on the responsible use of artificial intelligence in education. She believes that AI can play a transformative role when used to support and not substitute the human elements of teaching and learning. She believes in leveraging AI to expand what teachers and learners can achieve together and make classrooms more adaptive, accessible, and centered on meaningful learning experiences.
Shreya has designed and led online faculty development programs for university educators across India, building their capacity to integrate AI into their teaching. She holds a master’s degree in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in computer science and data science. Previously, she has developed automated feedback systems for large scale courses and conducted research on the use of large language models for de-identifying sensitive student data.
