Carlos Del Toro

As the founder, president, and chief executive officer of SBG Technology Solutions, Carlos Del Toro brings a formidable array of knowledge as a “hands-on” executive with experience in diplomacy; allied, joint, and service specific military operations; space systems engineering; program management; information technology and legislative affairs.

Mr. Del Toro’s leadership and innovation has been recognized by his selection as a White House Fellow and Special Assistant to the Director of the White House Office of Management and Budget in 1998 and later his election as President of the White House Fellows Foundation and Alumni Association in 2018. Mr. Del Toro has been recognized through numerous awards including the Ellis Island Medal of Freedom, Hispanic Business Magazine recognition as one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics in the United States, the Hispanic National Achievement Engineer of the Year Award, and numerous other military campaign and personal awards.

Mr. Del Toro’s entrepreneurship and business acumen have earned him appointments to the United States Chamber of Commerce Council on Small Business and Virginia’s Council on Higher Education. Most recently, his company was selected as a “2020 Small Business Success Story” by the Small Business Administration.

Mr. Del Toro holds Master of Arts and Master of Science degrees in space systems engineering, national security and strategic studies, and legislative affairs from the Naval Postgraduate School, the Naval War College, and The George Washington University, respectively. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering  from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis.
