Highlights

Dr. Asad Majeed Khan, a career Pakistan foreign service officer, assumed his current position as Pakistani ambassador to the United States in January 2019. During a diplomatic career spanning nearly three decades, Ambassador Khan’s positions have included ambassador to Japan; director general (Americas) at Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and deputy chief of mission at the Pakistani embassy in Washington, among others.
