A discussion with General John W. “Jay” Raymond, recently retired Chief of Space Operations for US Space Force

The Stimson Center welcomes General John W. “Jay” Raymond in his first public event since retiring as the head of the US Space Force in November. Raymond was the Space Force’s first Chief of Space Operations from 2019 to 2022. He will be interviewed by the Chair of Stimson’s Board of Directors, Hawk Carlisle.

This event is part of the Chairman’s Forum, an independent venue for leading thinkers, policymakers, and innovators to engage in a strategic-level discussion of today’s most pressing global challenges. The Chairman’s Forum is hosted by the Chair of Stimson’s Board of Directors, retired 4-star General Hawk Carlisle, who served 39 years in the US Air Force and brings a wealth of leadership experience, subject matter expertise, and strategic insight to the discussion.
