North Korea’s “Checkerboard” Threat: Obstacles and Opportunities for the US-ROK Alliance

This event is the public launch of 38 North’s military working group report, organized in partnership with the Korea Defense Veterans Association (KDVA). Panelists will discuss the challenges facing the alliance today, fueled by advancements in North Korea’s conventional capabilities, and recommendations for transforming the US-ROK alliance to better address an evolving security situation both on the Korean Peninsula and beyond.

Simultaneous interpretation (Korean-to-English) will be provided.
