Arms diversion remains an enduring threat to international security and one of the foremost risks associated with the global defense trade. Join us for this online event that will examine how States can work together to strengthen post-shipment counter-diversion measures from a leading panel of experts. Speakers from the UN Institute for Disarmament Research, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, and Conflict Armament Research will discuss the impact of international agreements in countering diversion, specific measures that can enhance the security of military materiel, and concrete examples of international collaboration to address instances of diversion.
