Since Operation 1027, the Myanmar resistance groups claim to control 60 percent of Myanmar’s territory. With instability erupting on their borders, India and China are invested in protecting their strategic interests in Myanmar. Though India and China share similar concerns as neighboring countries, Myanmar remains a point of contestation between them.
