In his more than 20 years at the Stimson Center, Brian helped shape the field of global security through his intellect, curiosity, generosity, and unwavering commitment to solving some of the worldโs most difficult challenges. This special gathering will hear from some of the community of friends, colleagues, staff, and partners who knew Brian, worked alongside him, and were inspired by his extraordinary leadership and humanity.
Together, we will celebrate Brianโs life and the lasting impact he had on Stimson and the broader global security community. We will also look ahead to consider how we can carry forward the curiosity, commitment to service, and spirit of problem-solving that defined Brianโs work and continue the causes to which he devoted his life.
