Marina Kumskova

Marina has been working in the field of human rights since 2013, by being part of numerous projects exploring human rights issues around the world and focusing on the study of enforced disappearances in Chechnya. She added the peace and security work to her portfolio in 2016 by joining the Women, Peace and Security Programme at Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom. There Marina worked to advance gender-sensitive conflict analysis and women’s participation in peace work with a specific focus on the Middle East and North Africa.

Being passionate about conflict prevention and building stronger links between work in-countries and at the global level, Marina joined GPPAC in 2019 as our UN Advocacy Officer to advance the global priorities of GPPAC members.
