Mahika Khosla

Mahika Khosla is a Research Assistant with the South Asia Program and Deputy Editor of South Asian Voices. Prior to this position, she was a Junior Fellow with the Program, focusing on SAV and the Track IIs and gaming portfolios. Mahika has prior experience interning at the Woodrow Wilson International Center, The Immigration Hub, and TheWire.in, and has extensive non-profit experience in India. She graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Film & Media Studies. She received Highest Honors in her senior thesis titled ‘Performing Citizenship: Undocumented Politics and the Dialectics of Refugee Law in India.’ Mahika’s research interests include the geopolitics of migration, environmental and food security, and human security and governance in South Asia. She has native fluency in Hindi and working proficiency in Spanish.
