Eman Omar recently graduated with a master’s from Columbia Journalism School where her reporting focused on carceral systems and child protective services in New York City. Before coming to New York, she served as the Digital Director of the Lahore Literary Festival where she spearheaded digital initiatives to launch the festival’s first-ever digital channel to broadcast thought-provoking discussions between some of the leading lights in literature, current affairs, policy, the economy and climate change.
