Project
Women & Water Security
Water scarcity has broad ramifications for women, particularly in water-stressed regions. A gender-balanced water governance and policy framework will ensure a secure and sustainable water future.
About the Project
The project amplifies the voices of women stakeholders in water-stressed regions, sharing unique perspectives that are instrumental in shaping a water-secure future. We do this by facilitating a more inclusive policymaking process and producing policy recommendations that promote gender equity and advance women’s representation in water governance. We also work to maximize opportunities for women in the local, regional, and global environmental space by creating platforms for networking, knowledge sharing, and capacity-building.
