Dr. Samuel Blazek is the Senior Director of Data & Analytics at Two Six Technologies, a research and technology firm based in Arlington, Virginia. He serves across Two Six’s social science, cyber, humanitarian engagement, machine learning, and information operations research portfolios, and leads data science and analytical activities across the organization. Previously, Sam was the Chief Scientist at IST Research, a first-party data collection and population engagement firm, that was acquired by the Carlyle Group. Sam also served as a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council GeoTech Center, and at the Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) Science and Technology Policy Institute (STPI), a Federally Funded Research & Development Center (FFRDC), supporting the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy.
Samuel received his PhD in Information, Risk, and Operations Management from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017 and his B.A. in Asian and Middle Eastern Languages and Literature from Dartmouth College in 2009.
