Ryan McClanahan is a Senior Grants & Finance Manager at the Stimson Center. He is responsible for working with program teams on the full life cycle of programming, from proposal to closeout. Prior to joining Stimson, he was a Senior Program Manager at CRDF Global, managing a team supporting global nonproliferation programming. Before that, from 2009 to 2019, he worked at the United States Institute of Peace, where he supported, coordinated, and managed peace-building programs across the Middle East and Africa, as well as offices in Iraq, Lebanon, and Tunisia.  

Ryan has a B.S. in International Affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA, and an M.A. in International Security Studies from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
