Puneet Agarwal is Chief Investment Strategy Officer of Atlas Capital Team Inc., a fintech company that is using the blockchain to enable people in vulnerable countries to preserve their savings against the impact of debilitating inflation while also channeling investments into climate-resilient real estate.
Prior to Atlas, Puneet was at Goldman Sachs for fourteen years as Managing Director and held leadership positions in the Investment Banking Engineering organization. He was called upon by clients to analyze and opine on how financial markets such as emerging market currencies, interest rates, commodities and inflation could financially impact them. Prior to joining GS, Puneet was at Lehman Brothers as a trader of emerging market currency options.
Puneet received an MBA from the University of Chicago and an Engineering degree from the University of Pune, India. His upbringing in India and his decades of professional experience focused on emerging markets led him to create solutions for people vulnerable to high inflation and at an aggravated impact of climate change.
