Peter Richards is treasurer of Broad Reach Foundation, a family foundation based in California that focuses on a wide range of program areas, including climate change, the arts, and foreign policy. He serves on the board of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft as well as the RAND Corporation’s Global and Emerging Risk Advisory Board. He previously served on the Advisory Board of the Center for Middle East Public Policy at RAND.
In addition to his philanthropic work, Peter is a Los Angeles-based theater director, actor, and film producer. He has directed and acted throughout the United States and Europe, including in Germany, France, and Russia. He develops and produces independent films through Working Barn Productions, a company he runs with his wife. He is a proud father of two daughters.
