Linton Wells, II

Loomis Council Member

Dr. Linton Wells II has more than thirty years of leadership experience at the interface of policy and technology. His research at George Mason University focuses on building sustainable community resilience and improving disaster response, international cyber resilience, and critical infrastructure protection. He served as a naval officer and as Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for Networks and Information Integration (NII) and Department of Defense (DoD) CIO. A 1967 US Naval Academy graduate, he has master’s and PhD degrees from Johns Hopkins University and was graduated from the National Institute for Defense Studies in Tokyo.
