Kevin Taweel

Kevin Taweel is co-founder and Chairman of Asurion. Under Kevin’s leadership, the company has grown from 40 to 22,000 employees, becoming the world’s largest provider of technology protection services, partnering with the world’s top companies and brands and serving nearly 300 million customers. Previously, Kevin was chairman and president of investment firm Mill River Corporation and worked in mergers and acquisitions for Salomon Brothers. In 2001, Kevin was awarded the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Kevin is a faculty member at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) where he teaches entrepreneurship courses in the MBA program, from which he graduated in 1992. He previously served on Stanford GSB’s advisory council and management board. Kevin received a Bachelor`s degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University. Kevin serves on the Board of Directors of ResponseLink, LLC, a provider of medical alert systems. He is also a member of the international advisory council for American University Beirut (AUB).
