John Izzo

Dr. John Izzo is a globally renowned bestselling author, professional speaker, and business advisor. He is the author of nine books including Awakening Corporate Soul, Values Shift, Stepping Up, and The Purpose Revolution. He was a Distinguished fellow of the East West Institute and serves on the Advisory Board of Sustainable Brands.

In his career as a professional speaker and business advisor, he has spoken to over one million people, taught at three major universities, and advised over 700 top companies on activating corporate social responsibility and purpose worldwide, including Ford, 3M, Manulife, McDonald’s, SAPA, RBC, Lockheed Martin, Qantas Airlines, Humana, Microsoft, and the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Izzo is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia, where he is a Co-Founder of Blueprint, an NGO is dedicated to thought leadership on masculinity and its impact on society. Blueprint is conducting leading edge research including a major study on how the workplace has changed in the wake of social equity movements, as well as developing programs that create more inclusive, socially responsible workplaces.

Dr. Izzo holds a Doctorate in Communication Studies from Kent State University, an MA in Psychology from the University of Chicago, an MDiv from the McCormick Theological Seminary, and a BA (manga cum laude) in Sociology and Journalism from Hofstra University. Dr. Izzo is also an ordained Presbyterian minister.
