Jessie Swanseen is a Senior Grants & Finance Manager at the Stimson Center. She is responsible for working with program teams on the full life cycle of programming, from proposal to closeout. Prior to joining Stimson, she was a Manager of Grants and Contracts at the Consortium for Ocean Leadership (COL), where she worked in various programmatic and operational roles, between 2011 and 2021.  At COL she focused on providing successful grants and contracts administration throughout the full award life cycle, and guiding efforts to modernize organizational operations. 

Jessie has a B.S. in Environmental Studies and English Literature from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. She also has obtained an M.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, and an MBA from Columbia University in New York, NY.
