General Mike Holmes retired from the Air Force in October 2020 after nearly 40 years of service and is now focused on identifying and eliminating barriers that limit the implementation of new ideas and technologies. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, an adjunct fellow at the Center for a New American Security, a member of the Air Force Studies Board, the Chairman of the Board at the Air Force Historical Foundation, a senior advisor at The Roosevelt Group, the Chairman of the Board at Red 6, and advises defense, tech and non-profit companies and organizations.
