Past
 Panel

2021 was the 9th driest year on record in the Mekong Basin. That’s making the 2022 dry season even drier and threatening agricultural productivity in the Mekong Delta. Upstream dams have begun releasing water for hydropower production. Does this help or hurt the Mekong and its communities during the dry season? What are the impacts to economies and ecologies in the region’s most important river system? How can Mekong countries adapt? Join the Mekong Dam Monitor team and discussants to explore the answers to these questions.
