This UNOC3 Side Event will present an array of solutions to make the Mediterranean a pilot region in the fight against plastic pollution. With speakers representing the European Commission, the governments of Greece and France, together with scientists from French Institute for Ocean Science, this event aims to generate political mobilization to take action build and implement a flexible strategy for reducing plastic pollution and safeguarding human and ecosystem health.
