On the fourth anniversary of Cameroon’s Anglophone protests, which the government suppressed, the Stimson Center’s Security for a New Century (SNC) program hosted a panel of in-region and other country experts to discuss current events, including the country’s separatist conflict. The webinar was a closed-door program for Congressional staffers, conducted under the Chatham House Rule.

During this meeting, discussion focused on the current security and humanitarian situation, recent conflict dynamics, the conditions faced by journalists and civil society activists, and the impact on Cameroon’s women and girls
