As a former professor of national security policy at the National War College, Marvin Ott has studied and written extensively on Southeast Asia issues with a focus on the region’s relationship with China.
Yun Sun, Senior Fellow and Co-Director, East Asia Program and Director, China Program, Stimson Center
Yun Sun is a Senior Fellow and Co-Director of the East Asia Program and Director of the China Program at the Stimson Center. Her expertise is in Chinese foreign policy, U.S.-China relations and China’s relations with neighboring countries and authoritarian regimes.

William M. Wise is a Nonresident Fellow affiliated with the Southeast Asia Program at the Henry L. Stimson Center. He is currently developing the new Southeast Asia Resource Center at Stimson, a project to promote and sustain the study of Southeast Asia at colleges and universities in the Mid-Atlantic region.
