Cindy Vestergaard is a Senior Fellow and Director with the Nuclear Safeguards and Blockchain in Practice Programs. Her research on blockchain technology considers and tests the potential for the tech to increase transparency, security and reporting in nuclear safeguards, nuclear security, the trade of dual-use chemicals and export controls.
Lovely Umayam is a Nonresident Fellow with Stimson’s Blockchain in Practice program and was most recently a Fellow with Stimson’s Trade, Technology & Security Platform. She is also a founder of Bombshelltoe Policy x Arts Collective, and a former Program Manager within DOE/NNSA. Her expertise focuses on innovation and engagement within nuclear safeguards and nuclear security.
Elina Martikka is the Head of International Cooperation at STUK, the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority of Finland. She has 30-years of work experience at a regulatory authority. Her strongest competence is safeguards and non-proliferation.
Jasmine Auda is the Deputy Managing Director at the Middle East Scientific Institute for Security (MESIS), an NGO based in Amman, Jordan associated with the Royal Scientific Society, and focuses on CBRN risk mitigation. Jasmine received her undergraduate degree from New York University and Master’s Degree from King’s College London.
Kim Anderson is President and Founder of inQ. Kim has long been a hired gun for executives pivoting their technologies to profitability. Previously, she was an executive at a multi-billion-dollar telecom company, staging it for eventual acquisition by Verizon. She now builds business solutions using smart technologies for enterprise, government, and IoTs.
Brenan Isabelle, Director, Enterprise Solutions, OARO. Brenan Isabelle’s background is in private equity and venture capital investments. Prior to this, he was a strategic and operations consultant at Deloitte — the largest professional services network in the world and a bond trading analyst at Scotia Capital. He holds an MBA in finance from Dalhousie University and a BBA from St. Francis Xavier University.
Verónica Venturini, Blockchain Architect, National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA). Verónica Venturini has been working at the Argentine National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA) for 10 years. She works with user-machine interfaces for nuclear control room systems and with human factor engineering in the Process Control Department. Currently, she is responsible for blockchain technology in the Information Security Department and developing courses responsible on different topics in relation to information security.
