How can the US achieve its security and foreign policy objectives with Iran and Iraq while avoiding another war? Kenneth M. Pollack, resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) will discuss his recently completed study of how the US has used its military, short of war, to advance its foreign policy objectives in Iran and Iraq.
This will be the first in a series of special events hosted by Stimson’s Defense Strategy and Planning program, focusing on US coercive diplomacy and military strategy since the end of the Cold War. Please join Stimson Center cofounder Barry Blechman in welcoming Dr. Pollack.
