Luis Lugo,
Director, Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life, Scott Keeter, Director of Survey Research,
Pew Research Center, and Farid Senzai,
Project Adviser, Director of Research, Institute for Social Policy
and Understanding, will discuss results and implications from the first-ever,
nationwide, random sample survey of Muslim Americans conducted by the Pew
Research Center. The study examines the group’s demographics, attitudes and
experiences. How assimilated and integrated are Muslims in America? How do
they perceive their identity and their faith compared to similar groups across
Europe? What can we learn about Islamic
extremism, identity and integration from US Muslims?
