Project
Latin America and the Global Energy Transition
Examining how Latin America could lead the global energy transition.
About the Project
This project examines how Latin America could lead the global energy transition by preserving its expansive tropical forests and biodiversity, accelerating renewable energy production, and producing the minerals urgently required for clean energy technologies, including batteries and electric vehicles. To meet this potential, Latin America will need partners for expertise and capital, and to connect the region to global supply chains for green industries.
