Sustainable Development Goal 16 to “promote just, peaceful and inclusive societies” is unique among the SDGs for its nuanced, robust approach to achieving sustainable development in tandem with global peace and security.

The Partnership in Security and Development’s SDG16 project brings together security and development actors – from within the UN and beyond it – to develop pragmatic steps and working partnerships to achieve Goal 16 for mutual gain.
